God has blessed me tremendously with the faith family of St. Augustine's. My journey began my Freshman Summer B (2008). During the summer, I went to daily mass (surprisingly there is not much school to do in summer school), and attended Newman. I kept attending mass during the Fall semester, and I regularly attended Freshman Bible Study, which eventually turned into Freshman Girls' Bible Study plus John. Still, something was missing from my faith life at St. A's, and I did not feel comfortable or part of a family. During Spring semester I attended Alpha, and I was suddenly thrown into the center of the St. A's community. I joined the Newman staff for the following year, and the rest as they say is history. If you take one thing from my very long-winded story, I wish for you to go forth and be brazen. Don't sit around and wait for people to meet you at the church: GET INVOLVED!
After three years at UF, I have become a strong supporter of Gator Football (although Rocky Top is a wonderful, wonderful song and I would gladly sing it for you). Other than college football, I enjoy hanging out with friends, baking (don't question it), watching movies, reading books, and writing.

My sophomore year was when I started getting involved, I went to mass on the first Sunday that school started and met Ms. Debby and a whole bunch of friendly Catholic Gators. Ms. Debby told me that she would be sure to get me involved that year and she made it happen!
I love to smile and meet new people. I’m all about doing the right thing and it makes me happy to see everyone else happy. I’m always open to new ideas and suggestions and really easy to talk to. My hobbies include going to church, sleeping, improving study skills, making music, volunteering.

I grew up Catholic, but never really submersed myself into my faith until I came to UF. At first I just attended Sunday mass with my roomate, but since encountering Christ at the FOCUS Conference in Orlando, and the FIRE Retreat in Spring 2010, my involvement in the St. A’s community has grown incredibly. I attend CSF and Newman Club whenever I can and I volunteer at mass as much as possible. There are so many amazing ministries here at St. A's! I can can truly say it is great to be a Catholic Gator!
I love going to daily mass, volunteering, acting crazy every once in a while, listening and dancing to music, praise and worship, writing Catholic hip-hop songs, and serving the Lord.

I became hooked on the Catholic Gators in the middle of my second year at UF. I walked into the office at St. A’s knowing nobody but looking for an opportunity to get involved, and Ms. Debby suggested that I go on the Alpha Retreat. The community and positivity I found at St. A’s has been incredible, and I am overjoyed to find myself so involved in such a great group of students.
I love to be outdoors. I scuba dive, ride my road bike, play sports whenever possible, studied abroad in New Zealand, and frequent the Gainesville Rock Gym. I hope to enroll in medical school next year, but until then I can’t wait to be part of the team that elevates the Catholic Gators to the next level of fun, fellowship, worship, service, and community.

I love Disney and spending time with my family. But what I love even more is walking in Jesus' footsteps by serving others personally or improving their environment. I have spent my last 4 spring breaks giving my love away in Kentucky and the Dominican Republic. Love isn't love until you give it away. This is how I live each day. I love how serving others personally intertwines with my major. Bettering the world of the children of God so they can learn and grow in God's love and a healthy environment.

I am a 3rd year Psychology major at the University of Florida and I love learning about the ways music affects people. My hobbies include outdoor sports like kickball, fishing, and biking, as well as playing music and hanging out with friends. I admit I am somewhat of an audiophile and enjoy listening to new music and bands. I have been a part of St A’s for over 2 years and have loved every minute being there. The community has grown so much and has allowed me to grow to love and serve the Lord. It has become my home and I am so lucky and blessed to have it.

The Catholic Gators embodies the values that I believe in... Catholic community values. As I started my education again, my brother introduced me to the Catholic Gators in the beginning of Fall 2010 and I've been involved and loving God's new day since.
My hobbies include, but not limited to: swimming, computer repair/construction, painting (on rare occasion), philosophical/political conversations, and watching sci-fi. Psst... go on Alpha!
