Preparing for First Communion

First Communion is a defining feature of being Catholic.  This time of preparation is a specialized opportunity to develop identity as a Catholic and enrich your family's practice of our faith.

Preparing for First Communion is a time rich with stories and grace for every Catholic!  It is our goal to strengthen our bonds with each other and Jesus as we journey toward this moment in our history.

St. Augustine is pleased to partner with your family in preparing your child for their first reception of the Sacrament of Eucharist.  When Church and family work together, we all benefit!

Because access to the sacraments is a fundamental right of every Catholic, there is no mandated cost for this program.  Your regular giving in the Sunday collection defrays some of the costs of this Faith Formation program.  Parents will be asked to purchase a scrapbook for use by each child in this program.  Specifications for this will be spelled out at the orientation meeting.

How do I register my child for this program?
There are two ways you can register your child.
  1. You can complete a on line registration form for First Communion by following this link: Registration Form.
