Pax Christi
Pax Christi-Gainesville is the local community of Pax Christi USA, the national Catholic peace and justice movement. Pax Christi-Gainesville is a community of people who are seeking to live out the "peace of Christ" in our own lives and in our world. Through prayer, education and action, we strive to answer the call of Jesus by actively exploring ways that we can witness to Christian non-violence and the kingdom of God. We believe that it is a basic tenet of our faith to work toward a world that is more peaceful, just and sustainable.
PC-Gainesville meets on the first Wednesday of each month for planning, reflection, prayer and study.
