Newman Club

The Newman Club is an organization of St. Augustine Catholic Church where we serve free food to our college students every Tuesday evening after the 5:30 mass (we usually start dinner at 6:15 p.m.).


At St. Augustine Catholic Student Center, we understand the hardships of being a student. Therefore, our objective is to essentially to provide students a place to come together and eat a cooked dinner so they can escape the hassles of life. After enjoying a delicious free meal, we meet for some fellowship and friendly competition in the form of playing sports on campus.

Newman Club is an opportunity where students of all backgrounds can come together without feeling obligated to join or commit to an organization. The Newman Club is a wonderful medium to meet new friends and get free food!

If you come every Tuesday after the 5:30pm Mass with your special Newman passport and get all 8 stamps, you are in the running for a PRIZE!

Don't worry, even if you don't get 8 stamps you could still win a prize.

Aug. 31 - Italy: baked ziti, garlic bread, salad
We will have have Super Mario Smash Brothers and more!!
Dress up as your favorite character and you can jump to the front of the line.

Sept. 7 - England: bangers and mash
The theme is The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. We will also be showing the movie!
Dress up as your favorite character and you can jump to the front of the line.

Sept. 14 - Belgium: waffles, grits, fruit
It's breakfast for dinner so wear your pj's if you want to jump to the front of the line!

Sept. 21 - Asia: vegetable stir fry, egg rolls, salad
Godzilla vs. Hello Kitty - a costume gets you to the front of the line!
